Difficult Conversations in the Workplace: Our seminar on navigating challenging conversations at the workplace provided an opportunity for participants to roleplay crucial conversations between managers and employees at the workplace. The Psychologist then actively identified key issues effective solutions. This hands-on approach facilitated meaningful interactions and practical skill-building in managing complex workplace dialogues.

  • Addressing Workplace Conflict.
  • Handling Personal conflict. 
  • Dealing with discrimination.
  • Discussing career development. 
  • Discussing work overload 
  • Clarifying Expertise. 
Solutions:  
  • Identify what drives the employee to reach their full potential e.g. financial rewards, professional development, recognition 
  • Recognize and validate your employees’ feelings, whether they are experiencing stress, excitement, or frustration 
  • Avoid verbiage that implies blame on anyone 
  • Re-prioritize challenges based on urgency and importance 
  • Every employee is not the same, understand their individual strengths and weaknesses 
  • Employees with a clinical diagnosis 
  • Overworking can lead to burnout and negatively impact career satisfaction and personal well-being
