Event Workplace Wellness

Workplace Mental Health:
Our seminar on mental health challenges at the workplace gave the audience an opportunity to discuss their concerns with mental health professionals and their own peers.

Problems Shared:
  • Negative feedback can lead to stress, anxiety, and decreased self-esteem.
  • Interpersonal conflicts can create a toxic work environment and negatively impact mental health.
  •  Personal problems can spill over into the workplace, affecting productivity and well-being.
  • Discrimination can lead to feelings of isolation, anxiety, and depression.
  • Lack of career growth opportunities can lead to dissatisfaction and burnout.
  • Excessive workload can contribute to stress, burnout, and decreased job satisfaction.
  • Uncertainty about one’s role and responsibilities can lead to anxiety and decreased job performance.
Solutions Offered:
  • Establish a culture of open communication and regular feedback to prevent surprises and build trust.
  • Take breaks every 2 hours for at least five minutes and do an activity that refreshes or relaxes you.
  • Provide access to EAPs that offer confidential counseling and support for personal issues.
  • Provide support and resources for employees who experience discrimination.
  • Regularly assess employee workloads and make adjustments as needed.
  • Promote work-life balance initiatives, such as flexible work arrangements and vacation time.
